Designer handbags are by far my favorite fashion accessory. As soon as I became interested in luxury fashion, I immediately gravitated towards the idea of investing in gorgeous, well-made bags.
From totes to clutches, shoulder bags to top handles, over the years, I’ve collected an assortment of styles, and have come to take great pride in my little collection. Some women collect Herend figurines, others search high and low for rare, vintage cookbooks, and me, well, I simply adore handbags! At first my husband thought I was crazy, but now he’s really accepted my love affair (…for reference, the day he independently spotted a Birkin on a woman walking down the street, I knew I had converted him!).
In the beginning, I played it very safe and only invested in classic colors and styles (think blacks and neutrals), however, as my collection grew, I became more and more attracted to fun, bright statement hues. My most recent obsession!? The color PINK! In my eyes, there is nothing more feminine and playful than a splash of pink, and when worn correctly, it can really make an outfit pop!
I spotted this Gucci Marmont Mini Chain Bag during the winter and immediately became obsessed. The gorgeous color is completely different from anything I own, and to me, it just oozes happiness! In the warmer months, I love wearing white dresses and white jeans, and this bag really makes a statement next to neutral outfit choices. Since the size of this Gucci bag is only around 8 inches wide and 5 inches high, the price point is more reasonable than other bags in the Marmont collection. If you like the aesthetic of my bag, but prefer something a bit larger, I also love the Marmont Matelasse Shoulder Bag, which comes in a more purply pink!
If you’re also obsessing over this ultra girly color for the season, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite pink bags for summer!
I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles. Audrey Hepburn

Perfect for a day shopping in the city or a night on the town! This bag has room for everything I really need (credit cards/license, phone, and lipsticks), with the only downfall being it can’t fit my sunglasses. I’ve worn it as a shoulder bag as well as a clutch for a night out, and it looks beautiful. I can’t wait to style it with even more outfits over the summer!
At first glance, the micro version of the beautiful Fendi Peekaboo may appear too small. In full disclosure, I remember thinking it looked like a child’s bag the first time I saw it! However, if you are on the shorter/petite side, I highly recommend trying it on, as it actually looks really cute when on! I love this bag as a cross body and both the magenta and fluio pink hues are stunning.
I own this bag in a different color and it’s one of the most functional and versatile totes in my collection. The new petalo color is so dreamy and perfect for summer, however, there are so many reasons why I love this bag. First, the saffiano leather is very easy to care for, so if you are looking for a solid investment piece, I can attest to the fact that this bag is unbelievably durable. Second, the size of this bag is perfect; it’s roomy but not overwhelming! Last, I adore the fact that you can wear this bag over the shoulder or as a top handle. Depending on what I am doing, both ways of wearing it come in handy!
I am always drawn to Saint Laurent handbags, as I love the clean lines and classic elegance. This chain wallet not only comes in the most striking fuchsia, but just like my new Gucci bag, it can function as both a shoulder bag and clutch! Personally, I think this color can easily be worn throughout the seasons, as it’s dark enough for the colder months, while still being lively enough for the summer.
There is nothing quite like a quilted CHANEL bag, and this fuchsia wonder is a total stand-out. While it is definitely small (around 5 inches wide and 6.7 inches high), I think it is still very functional, and not to mention oh-so-fun! I would use this bag for a day running errands where I don’t need a lot in my bag or on a summer night out.
